Windows 2000 Setup Guide - Free Dialup UK

Follow the instructions below to setup your dialup connection on a Windows 2000 operating system with Free Dialup UK connection settings.

Important - We recommend printing this page before you begin.


1. Click the Windows Start menu, select Settings, select Network and Dial-up Connections. Double click the Make New Connection icon.

2. You will be welcomed to the Network Connection Wizard, click on next.

3. Select the Dial-up to the Internet option and click on next.

4. Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually and click on next.

5. Select I connect through a phone line and a modem and click on next.

6. Type 0845 123 20 95 as the Telephone number (leave area code blank). Make sure that the Use area code and dialing rules box is unchecked and click on next.

7. Type in your username (freedialup) and your password (password). Select the first two check boxes and leave the last one blank. Click on next.

8. Type a name for your connection, such as Free Dialup UK and click on next.

9. To use your new connection, click the Windows Start menu, select Settings, select Network and Dial-up Connections and double click the Free Dialup UK icon.


Congratulations! You have setup your new Internet connection.
