Windows ME Setup Guide - Free Dialup UK

Follow the instructions below to setup your dialup connection on a Windows ME operating system with Free Dialup UK connection settings.

Important - We recommend printing this page before you begin.


1. Click the Windows Start menu. Select Settings, select Dial-up Networking.

2. Double click the Make New Connection icon.

3. You will be welcomed to the Network Connection Wizard, click on next.

4. Type a name for your new connection, such as Free Dialup UK. Select your installed modem from the select a device drop down menu and click on next.

5. Type 0845 123 20 95 into the Telephone number box (leave area code blank) and select United Kingdom from the Country menu, and click next. Click Finish.

6. Type in your username (freedialup) and password (password) and select the Save password box and click connect. You will now be connected to new account.

7. To use your new connection, click the Windows Start menu, select Settings, select Dial-up Networking and double click on Free Dialup UK.


Congratulations! You have setup your new Internet connection.
