What is Free Internet Access?Free internet access is a concept born from many large companies like Freeserve (now Wanadoo) making money from both a subscription and the calls. They put a monthly fee on top of any money made from the 0845 dialup, charging you twice.With Free Dialup UK, you don't have to pay for a subscription, all you pay for is the call. The subscription has been removed, making access to the internet free. The overheads for all the servers and connections are paid for as part of your call time. How does it work? Your connection to the internet is free. The servers (the details on the front of the Free Dialup UK website) are provided so you can connect to the internet, surf and use SMTP email in the usual way, free of charge. Our payment is taken from a small percentage of your call time minutes. For example, if you pay 1p per minute we will earn 0.0etc pence.
